The book War Games is an investigation into the physical re-enactment of conflict. The book documents a World War II re-enactment at Fort Nelson, near Portsmouth and features interviews with British, American, USSR and German re-enactors, as well as photography of the site and activities that occurred during the day.

The book seeks to explore and question the issues raised through the process of re-enacting one of the most horrendous periods of human history, indeed one with many surviving veterans.

A short accompanying film, also called War Games was shot on the day.
