fabulous wonder.land

National Theatre

fabulous wonder.land is a virtual reality music video inspired by wonder.land, the National Theatre’s musical created by Damon Albarn, Moira Buffini and Rufus Norris.

Built for Oculus Rift and Cardboard, the 3.5 minute experience transports the user into the National Theatre’s vibrant reimagining of Lewis Carol’s Wonderland which sees them falling down a swirling rabbit hole before landing in a bizarre and alien garden. Here they are serenaded by a colossal grinning Cheshire Cat who sings Damon Albarn’s fabulous from the musical.

The Oculus Rift experience formed a core component of enter wonder.land, an interactive exhibition at the National Theatre lobby.

I was responsible for designing UI elements as well as assisting in art direction, alongside concept development and storyboards.

Produced at Play Nicely.
